Passionné depuis toujours par la beauté qui hante ce monde, Andy Julia a choisi de la retranscrire par le medium photographique. Après deux enrichissantes années aux beaux-arts et l’obtention d’un diplôme à l’ETPA de Toulouse, il s’installe à Paris en 2004 afin de faire ses premières armes aux studios Daylight. Cependant, il ne tarde pas à développer ses propres projets et se retrouve très vite à exposer ses travaux, notamment chez RENOMA puis à sortir son premier livre, « IDEAL ». On retrouve bientôt sa patte dans des magazines d’art et de mode (So Chic, Lush, Madame Figaro, Code d’accès), ce qui lui ouvre les portes de l’univers de la mode, où il devient un éditorialiste réputé. En 2007 sort son deuxième ouvrage, « LIBERTINE ». Suivent des expositions aux quatre coins du monde (Japon, Etats-Unis, Canada) et de collaborations prestigieuses, artistiques comme publicitaires. Depuis 2009, il travaille aux coté d’Hugo Jacomet pour PARISIAN GENTLEMAN, le site référence de l’art sartorial et de l’élégance masculine ; collaboration qui culmine en 2015 avec la sortie du livre éponyme, chez la célèbre maison d’édition britannique Thames&Hudson.

Andy Julia has always been passionate of the beauty that haunts our world. Thus, it was for him not a choice but an evidence that he had to transpose it through photography. After two rewarding years studying at the Beaux-Arts (Fine Arts School) and the obtaining of a diploma at ETPA Toulouse, he moved to Paris in 2004, in order to cut his teeth at Daylight Studios.Nonetheless, he quickly developped his own projects and rapidly exhibited his work, notably at RENOMA, before releasing his first book, « IDEAL »
Soon, his work got published in arts magazine (Code D’Accès) as well as fashion publications (Lush, Madame Figaro, So Chic). This allowed him to enter the fashion circle, in which he becomes a well-renowned editorial photographer. 2007 would mark his second book release, « LIBERTINE ». After that, exhibitions wiould follow, all around the world (Japan, USA, Canada) and prestigious collaborations. Since 2009, Andy has been working alongside Hugo Jacomet for PARISIAN GENTLEMAN, the definitive website dedicated to the sartorial arts, a partnership that culminated in 2015 with the release of the eponymous book, published by the prestigious publishing house Thames&Hudson
